Johny (Brazilian) was known to be the biggest debtor in town. He made his fame for never having paid a debt in his life. Isaac(Jew) was the biggest money lender in town. He made his fame for always have collected his money around.
One ocasion, Isaac have lended Johny some cash and was looking all over town for him. Finally found him at Manuel´s bar. A huge fight started and everybody else but the three of them left the place.
Finally Jonny took a pistol out of his pocket and screamed: "I will not pay this money and loose my reputation ! I rather go to hell by taking my own life !!" and shot himself.
Isaac took the pistol and said: "No way he will run away from me!! I will keep my reputation and collect this cash! I will go to hell after him!!", and shot himself too..
Manuel, the portuguese who owned the bar, took the pistol and said: "I will not lose this fight for nothing!!", and shot himself too!!
(This is typical Brazilian humor, so maybe is not funny for everybody. Portuguese jokes for us are like Polish jokes for Americans).
